Review: Naked Flamingo Mega Greens Acne Defense Moisturizer

Green Tea is a powerful antioxidant that is known to assist in healing acne and preventing more breakouts from emerging. Mega Greens is an antioxidant defense against acne and bacteria causing acne and clogged pores. This gel cream moisturizer is loaded with powerhouse ingredients to soothe stubborn breakouts and prevent excess sebum buildup.

Naked Flamingo

I was so excited to try this moisturizer – with all its rave reviews and unique combination of super power ingredients (kale, green tea, and collagen??? Count me in!), I purchased this product with high hopes. Don’t underestimate the small size of the container either, this product is THICK and a little goes a long way. At first, I applied too much of the product, and its pilled terribly, but after applying a bit less (somewhere in-between a dime to quarter amount), I found this moisturizer easy to spread and absorb into the skin. All in all, my skin felt smooth and moisturized after use!

The Takeaway

This is a really unique product, full of incredible benefits with no cons to caution against. At an affordable $17, this is a great moisturizer for those with dry or sensitive skin. For oily or acne-ic skin, perhaps keep this to winter/dry season use only, for despite it’s many anti-acne ingredients, this is still a very thick product, so your mileage in that regard may vary. For me, while I really enjoy using this product, I may retire it once the weather warms.
