This multitasking wash-off clay mask absorbs excess oil, purifies and polishes without dehydrating skin. The creamy formula contains kaolin and bentonite clays to soak up sebum and help minimize the appearance of pores, heartleaf (eoseongcho) extract to kill acne-causing bacteria and walnut shell powder to gently exfoliate pores. Skin feels smooth and refreshed after use.

I bought this mask quite some time ago, excited to try out a less stripping clay mask for exfoliation. Noticing its pleasant reviews and lack of (overtly) damaging ingredients, I decided to give this mask a try – because even if there aren’t say, and outstanding collection of ingredients, the cohesion of the ones provided may create a great skin outcome. Application of this mask is simple and pleasant. Though the container is small, a little goes a long away and spreads easily along the skin without dripping off or rubbing across. After about 10-15 minutes, I find the wash off process simple and with irritation, the face feeling clean (but not overly tight).

- Caprylic/Capric Triglyerceride (moisturizing)
- Glyerin (moisturizing)

Significant Cons
- The walnut shell powder the mask boasts of is listed further down the list than fragrance, which is concerning.
- Fragrance (skin irritant)
The Takeaway
This is a really pleasant mask, even if I don’t find it outstanding enough to warrant its price ($25). Depending on if you are allergic to fragrance (though this is a wash off product), this is a great option for those with sensitive skin as well as those looking for a clay mask to start on (I should note that that walnut shells alone should not be used on skin as they are way too rough, however, because this is walnut shell powder, I don’t have concerns). Even so, I probably won’t be repurchasing this since I still think there are better products at different price points out there that I’d like to try!
